Hoboken Train Crash Kills 1 and Injures Over 100

On Thursday, September 29th during the morning rush, a careening commuter train plowed through the barrier at the end of the tracks and crashed into a wall at a terminal, killing one person and injuring more than 100. The individual who died was a woman standing on the platform, who was hit by falling debris. The catastrophic train crash unleashed chaos as part of the station’s roof came tumbling down in a jumble of metal.
The train was carrying approximately 250 passengers and traveling at a high speed when it failed to halt on the track. The startling impact tossed commuters around the crowded train and forced bystanders to their knees, as it transformed the historic station into a disaster area.Hoboken Terminal
