12-Year-Old Girl Critically Injured In Car Accident Along Audubon Avenue
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (April 9, 2022) – A 12-year-old girl was critically injured in a car accident on Audubon Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 12:25 p.m. on Thursday. A 12-year-old girl was crossing the intersection when she was hit by a Mercedes.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. She was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital in order to receive treatment.
Many local residents are calling Audubon Avenue a dangerous zone. There were 31 crashes between 178 Street and 168th Street. A full investigation into the collision on Audubon Avenue remains ongoing at this time.
