Elderly Pedestrian Died In Washington Heights Collision Along West 161 Street
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NEW YORK (October 28, 2023) – An elderly man has tragically died in a Washington Heights pedestrian accident on West 161 Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place around 6:53 p.m. on Thursday. A man was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a vehicle.
The force of the impact knocked him to the ground and left him unconscious. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
Sadly, he later died due to his injuries.
