A crossing guard was shoveling snow when a pickup truck hit him in the intersection.Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision to help the victim. He was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.The driver of the pickup truck involved in the crash was arrested on suspicion of driving while impaired.
