Citi Bike Rider Died In Gowanus, Brooklyn Collision Near The Intersection of Ninth Street and Second Avenue
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (April 15, 2023) – A person riding a Citi Bike has tragically died in a Gowanus car accident near the intersection of Ninth Street and Second Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the collision took place on Tuesday. A person was riding a Citi Bike along an unprotected section of Ninth Street.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, the bicyclist died due to the severe nature of his injuries.
A full investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
