Police Searching For Driver Involved In Astoria Hit-And-Run Collision
QUEENS, NEW YORK (July 1, 2023) – A Citi-Bike rider was critically injured in an Astoria, Queens hit-and-run collision by Northern Boulevard and 48th Street.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place in the early morning hours on Friday. A 24-year-old Citi-Bike rider was heading down the street when they were hit by a Pathfinder.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. The bicyclist was taken to the Elmhurst Hospital in order to receive treatment.
Police found the Pathfinder involved in the collision, but it was empty. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
