Accident Took Place At Thomas Jefferson Park By East 111th Street and 1st Avenue
EAST HARLEM, NEW YORK (June 25, 2023) – A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a moped at Thomas Jefferson Park by East 111th Street and 1st Avenue.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. A boy was in the park when he was hit by a man illegally riding a scooter.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
A full investigation into the incident remains ongoing at this time.
