Bicyclist Died In Hit-And-Run Car Accident In Montgomery Along State Route 52
MONTGOMERY, NEW YORK (July 12, 2022) – A bicyclist has tragically died in a hit-and-run car accident in Montgomery along Sate route 52 by Belair Road.
Montgomery police officials are saying that the accident took place around 12:44 a.m. on Saturday. A 21-year-old man was riding an e-bike with his 21-year-old female passenger when they were hit by a car.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident in order to help the victims. Sadly, the female passenger on the bicycle died.
Police are still trying to help find the driver of the car that fled the scene. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
