Central Islip Police Searching For Drivers Involved In Fatal Bicycle Accident By East Suffolk Avenue at Lowell Avenue
CENTRAL ISLIP, NEW YORK (December 20, 2023) – A 65-year-old man has tragically died in a Central Islip car accident by East Suffolk Avenue at Lowell Avenue.
Central Islip police officials are saying that the collision took place around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. A small SUV and a white sedan struck the victim.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help him. Despite life-saving measures, he was later pronounced dead. Police are searching for the drivers involved.
A full investigation into the central Islip hit-and-run crash remains ongoing.
