This two-day event attracts local media coverage and is one of the Bronx’s most anticipated summer attractions. Celebrities and guest speakers are scheduled to make appearances on both days of the event.

There will be eight teams competing in an eliminating-format throughout the two days, as well as two youth all-star teams competing on that Sunday. In addition to the games, the event schedule includes entertainment for the spectators and a memorial service providing family members with a memorial plaque in honor of a loved one who recently passed away.

About The Gardiner Foundation, Inc.

In 2006, Dexter Gardiner established The Gardiner Foundation in memoriam of losing his twin brother and five other family members in a devastating car accident on the Bronx River Parkway. The Foundation recognizes the need for families in similar situations in the community by providing educational scholarships, financial and emotional support, and burial assistance to other families who have experienced an unexpected tragic loss.

Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C. has been a title sponsor of this annual event since 2009. The money and manpower we donate each year provides various needs supported by The Gardiner Foundation.
