Teenage Pedestrian Critically Injured By Street Sign Following Staten Island Car Accident
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK (November 21, 2023) – A 19-year-old pedestrian has tragically died in a Staten Island car accident along Richmond Road.
New York City police officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:10 a.m. on Monday. Two vehicles were involved in a collision when one of them hit a street sign.
The force of the impact cause a street sign to collide with a male pedestrian. Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim.
He was taken to a local area hospital in order to receive treatment. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
