Liability For Islandia Car Accidents
The vast majority of car accidents are preventable and involve some amount of driver error. Many accidents are due to driver fatigue. According to the National Safety Council, “Driving after going more than 20 hours without sleep is the equivalent of driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.08% – the U.S. legal limit. You are three times more likely to be in a car crash if you are fatigued.” Many other factors could contribute to car accidents including:
- Drunk driving
- Inclement weather
- Poor road conditions
- Vehicle system failures
Going through a car accident is often one of the most difficult things that most people will ever go through. Victims may need to contend with high medical bills and take significant periods of time off of work. Sadly, though, many people die in collisions and never get the chance to recover. The family of any person that died in a car accident may be able to seek some measure of justice through a wrongful death claim.
