About Stacey T. Sokol Stacey Sokol, joined the firm in September of 2007 as an associate. She obtained an undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1996 and her law degree from Albany Law School, Union University in 1999. Stacey re-located to the New York City area in January of 2001, and began working at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, LLP, a large insurance defense firm with offices located throughout the world. Stacey spent approximately 6½ years in one of the firm’s medical malpractice divisions, and represented hospitals, laboratories, doctors and nurses in a wide variety of complex, high exposure claims. Stacey is proud to have joined Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C. where she can use the knowledge and experience she gained while doing defense work to fight for, and better serve those who have been injured.
